Mrs. Imogene Lewis Sweat's Obituary
Imogene Lewis Sweat, age 83 of Hendersonville passed away on June 27, 2013. Mrs. Sweat was born on April 1, 1930 in White County, TN to the late Stanton and Lou Davis Lewis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sweat was preceded in death by her brothers, T.W. Lewis, Joe Ed Lewis and Stanton Lewis, Jr. She is survived by her children, Emma (Larry) McElroy, Julia (Chris) Steppee, Caroltta (David) Lee, Belinda (James) McClure and Sonya (Josh) Gibson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren, 1 sister; 2 brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 29th at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M., Friday and from 10 A.M. until the time of service, Saturday, at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
