Inocentes A. Sator's Obituary
Inocentes Aparecio Sator, born on December 28, 1939, in Cebu, Philippines, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 86 years old.
To those who knew him, Inocentes was a man of quiet strength, deep curiosity, and unwavering dedication. A gifted physician, he devoted his life to caring for others with compassion, patience, and a steady hand. His work was more than a profession — it was a calling, and he served with humility and heart.
Beyond medicine, Inocentes was a man of rich interests and simple joys. He was an avid boxing fan, following the sport with enthusiasm. He loved the rugged world of Louis L’Amour novels, where grit and honor shaped every story. And he had a lifelong passion for history and reading, always eager to learn, reflect, and share the lessons he found meaningful.
He carried these passions with warmth and a gentle humor that made people feel at ease. His presence was steady, his wisdom quiet but profound, and his love for his family constant.
Inocentes was a loving son, husband, father, lolo, and brother. He is survived by his devoted wife, Daisy, and his 3 beloved children Vincent, Mary Joyce, and Jennifer, along with her spouse, Sonia. They will forever carry his memory and his values forward. He is also survived by his cherished grandson, Neel, whom he loved spending time with every chance he could. He leaves behind his brothers, Nilo and Nestor, and his sister, Lolita, each of whom carries a special part of his story and his love.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison, Tennessee. A second visitation will take place on Friday, June 19th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison, with a funeral Mass at noon.
