DAY,Irene Mai Age 83 of Inglewood passed away on Monday, December 13th surrounded by her loving family following a long inspiring battle with cancer. She loved ballroom dancing, world travel, and was active at Knowles Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Binkley; parents James Day and Agnes Lowe Day; brothers, Herschel Day and John R. Day. She is survived by her children, Steve W. (Connie) Irwin, Sheila Higgason Coode, Barry L. (Gwen) Irwin; brother, William P. (Dot) Day; grandchildren, Kelly D. (Mike) Roop, Kimberly A. Coode, David Keith Irwin; great-grandchildren, Michaela J. Roop, MacKenzie M. Roop, Joshua Tucker Irwin; step-children, Mike (Dianne) Binkley, Patsy McClanahan, Scotty Binkley, and Ricky Binkley. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14th from 1-8PM, Wednesday, December 15th from 1-8PM, and Thursday, December 16th from 12 Noon until service time at 2PM at SPRINGHILL FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY 5110 Gallatin Rd. at Briley Pky. 1-(615)-865-1101.
