Many memories, mostly church related, before she married. When I was a young girl she picked me up for church every week til my family started going. We rode around after church, just hanging out. That first apartment she realized she couldn't do it after the first month. She would talk about being an old maid at 25 if you weren't married. We had fun conversations. I loved her. She was my Joanne and she called me her Cindy.
My Gramma was the most loving soul and truly kind to everyone she met. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and her family meant everything to her. Some of my most cherished memories are of her in the kitchen, making the best homemade gravy to go with her warm, homemade biscuits—simple moments that were filled with so much love and comfort. She was always there for me, no matter what, and her love was constant and unconditional. I will miss her more than words can say and will love her forever.
