Irvin Robinson's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Mr. Irvin Robinson, born in Stockbridge, GA on June 20, 1953; he later moved to Atlanta where he worked for the Atlanta Housing Authority for over twenty years. His hobby was the performing arts, and he performed part-time in the City of Atlanta. Mr.Robinson volunteered throughout the Atlanta area with the Union Mission Homeless Shelter, Salvation Army, and other outreach agencies. He relocated to Nashville, TN in 2000 where he has lived for the past 11 years. Irvin's belief and faith in GOD resulted in him becoming a member of Metrolpolitan Interdenominational Church under the leadership of Senior Servant, Rev. Edwin C. Sanders. He was a caring person who would lend a helping hand to those in need. He has opened his home to friends who were in need of temporary shelter on a number of occasions. He was loved, and cared for by many in the Nashville Community. He was active with the "living room" and MFMC until his death. He leaves to mourn his friends, and case managers from Street Works, Nashville Cares, Grace Health Care Center, and especially his adopted family Metropolitan First Response Center, and Metropolitan Interdenominational Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, August 10th at Metropolitan Interdenominational Church, 2128 11th Ave. N. Nashville, TN 37228
