Jack Hardin, Sr.'s Obituary
Jack D. Hardin, Sr., age 79, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Thomas-Rutherford Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. Jack was born on August 14, 1937 in Nashville, TN to Bennie and Louise (Rippy) Hardin.
Mr. Hardin had a strong work ethic with a background in sales. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, fishing and traveling. He was a graduate of North High ‘class of 1955’ and kept up with his classmates throughout the years. He was a member of the Kalb Hollow Group and would meet with them occasionally to catch up with each other’s lives.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hardin and a brother,
Joe “Pedro” Hardin.
Jack is survived by sons, Jack Jr. and wife, Wanda Hardin, David and wife, Kelly Hardin; daughter, Lisa Hardin; significant other, Rena Johnson; grandchildren, Brandie Stanley, Jack Hardin, III, Brittney Driscoll, Tabitha Hardin, Danielle Hardin, Scotty Hardin, and Adriana Hardin; great-grandchildren, Madison, Landon, Keaton, Axton, Carson, and Jaxon; special friend, Darlene Chesterfield. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 11:30 am at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10am – 11:30am at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Hardin, David Hardin, Scotty Hardin, Jack Hardin, III, Rocky Johnson, and Michael Bradley.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brandie Stanley, Brittney Driscoll, Tabitha Hardin, Danielle Hardin, Adriana Hardin, Nicole Taylor, Danielle Taylor, and Brittany Travis.
