My first impression of Jacob was what a good son he was to his mother. Although I never met his mother I saw him with her before I knew him at Krogers. I knew that he worked at JcPenneys as did I, but we worked different shifts and I never had a chance to talk to him. On the day I saw them he had his arm around her and they walked through the store laughing and just enjoying their time together getting what they needed. Some kids never let their parents know how much they love them but on that day it was very clear how much his mother meant to him. I was so touched by his kindness towards her that the next time I saw him at work I mentioned it to him. From that day forward he was my friend. To me he was one of the funniest people I have ever met. I feel very lucky to have met him. I am very sad that he is gone. RIP sweet Jacob. You will be missed.
