Jacqueline P. "Jackie" Conner's Obituary
Jacqueline P. “Jackie” Conner, 84, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022. Born April 8, 1938, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. Poe and Sara Ferguson Poe.
Jackie was a member of Madison Church of Christ. Years ago she belonged to the Old Hickory Home Demonstration Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. When she was younger, Jackie enjoyed traveling, painting, photography, cooking, baking and cross stitching.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William Dewayne “Bill” Conner, Sr.; sisters Janice Downs and Suzanne Rippeteau.
She is survived by her son Chip (Michelle) Conner; daughter Cherie (Holli Smith) Conner; grandchildren William Christian Conner, Abigail Grace (Jonah) Kirkpatrick, Jacqueline Cole Smith and William Ferguson Smith; great grandchild William Lucas Conner and great granddaughter baby Kirkpatrick on the way.
Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville on Thursday, June 23 from 4 PM until 8 PM. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be conducted at Hermitage Memorial Gardens on Friday, June 24 at 11 AM.
