Jacqueline Irene Hale's Obituary
Jacqueline Irene Hale, 77, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, passed away on February 17, 2026, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center. She was born on October 5, 1948, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Johnny and Peggy Hale, and was the granddaughter of W.C. Palmore and Nettie Irene Neeley.
Jackie spent part of her childhood in Burbank, California, where she graduated from John Burroughs High School with the Class of 1966. She began her career with Walt Disney as an administrative professional. She later married and moved to Carson City, Nevada. Following her divorce, she returned to Redding, California, in 1994, and eventually relocated to Goodlettsville after the passing of her mother.
Throughout her life, Jackie built a diverse and accomplished career. She worked for Walt Disney from 1971 to 1979, then went on to serve as a land coordinator for Emselco Exploration, an office manager for ABC/KOLO TV, and later at Shasta County Public Health, where she ultimately retired.
Jackie had a well-known and lifelong love of Krystals. During her visits from California to Tennessee, she made it a tradition to stop at Krystals on the way to the airport, returning home with a sack full of her favorite burgers. After moving to Goodlettsville, she enjoyed them again, though she often said they just weren’t quite the same as she remembered.
In her quieter moments, Jackie found joy in cooking and loved preparing meals for those she cared about. She also enjoyed working puzzles, spending many peaceful hours piecing them together with patience and satisfaction.
She is survived by her brother, Michael Holst; nephew, Nathan Holst; and cousins.
