Jacqueline Ivie's Obituary
IVIE, Jacqueline; of Franklin, TN passed away May 15, 2011. She was born in Kingsport, TN on April 16, 1936 to the late Joseph Perry Ivie and Eunice Celeste Eidson. She was also preceded in death by her brother Joseph Perry Ivie Jr. She is survived by her brother, William Thomas “Bill” Ivie; nieces, Joy (Ben) Faulk and Kate Bumpus; nephews, Chip Ivie and Bill (Shannon) Ivie; great-nieces, Ivie and Perry Faulk and London Ivie; great-nephew, Dane Ivie; and friend, Dallas Dodson. Jacqueline was a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse. Early in her career she served on the Tennessee State Board of Nursing and Tennessee Board of Education. She taught at the Belmont University School of Nursing and retired from the Tennessee Dept. of Health where she worked in quality management. A funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate her life on Wednesday May, 18, 2011 at 10AM in the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow services in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will gather to visit with friends from 4-8PM on Tuesday evening and just prior to services on Wednesday morning. Memorial gifts may be made to Eastwood Christian Church Memorial Fund.
