Mrs. Jacqueline Victoria "Vicky" Slate's Obituary
Jacqueline Victoria Slate, 65, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. Born May 6, 1956 in Madison, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Jack Webb and Barbara Ann Wilson.
Vicki had worked for the Nashville Davidson Metro Government for over 25 years in the tax assessor’s office and later in the traffic violations bureau. Her family and friends will remember her for her loving, nonjudgmental spirit. In her spare time she enjoyed tending to her flower garden.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, John Slate; son Ronnie (Nancy) McEwen; stepchildren Kristi Elaine Slate and Christopher Jon Slate; brother Jack (Brenda) Webb; grandchildren Blake, Dylan, and Keely; uncle Lou Rossignolo; and her beloved bulldog Knuckles.
A memorial service is being planned and will be announced on this website when dates/times are determined.
