Mr. James Baskette's Obituary
James Ray Baskette, age 67, of Old Hickory Tennessee, passed away on March 12, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing, rebuilding tractors, movies, family cookouts and fish frys.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Richard H. Baskette and wife, Clara Mae Hines; and one son, Steven Baskette.
James is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jan Baskette; one step-son Justin Abney; one daughter, Christy(Bubba) Powell; two brothers, Richard (Jane) Baskette, Milton (Teri) Baskette; two sisters, Linda (Leonard) McGee, Peggy Harris; two grandchildren, Brittany (Brandon) Standridge, Logan Powell; three great-grandchildren, Callie Standridge, Chloe Standridge, Brennan Standridge; a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from 4-8 pm and again on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 10-11 am, with a celebration of life funeral ceremony starting at 11 am in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Abney, Brandon Standridge, Kenny McGee, David Binkley, Brad Baskette, and Ethan Smith.
