And I thought the other one I shared didn't post so Mucho Love!!
I'll never forget Aaron's cheeky grin when I first met him at 1508 16th Ave. S!! Welcoming and easy to love from the start and he gave me my first job in Nashville in 1995 and became the starting block for all of the adventures I've had as a singer/songwriter from TX to Nashville! I'm so grateful to the kindness of his sweet soul and all of the loving folks he surrounded himself with!! I know where you've gone J. Aaron Brown and excited to see your sweet grin again!!
The perfect beginning to my Music Row days back in 1994 was meeting and being employed by J. Aaron Brown & Associates!! His grinning love for people made it easy to love and respect him and his team. I am grateful to have been introduced to studio time and being offered the ability to present new songs for his company lullaby projects that became my first success in Nashville with Lovesongs & Lullabyes For Daddys Little Dreamer! Aaron made the hard ropes of learning the biz and staying in it worth the journey as he had. Everything sprouted for my career from his open arms into the publishing world at 1508 16th Ave S, my first country music home in Nashville! Thank you Aaron, Dave, Matthew, Isabel, Timi, and Connie for your grace to young singer/songwriters like me!! Cherished!
This interview my dad gave back in 2014 is a great insight into the kind of light hearted, unique soul that he was. Miss you AB!!
Aaron shared his gift of love with strangers and friends. From San Miguel handing out sweets to children, to breakfast advice at Elliston Soda Shop, to avid cheering for the Titans; AB was a true friend and companion. Having mentored me in music for 20 years, I will cherish his advice throughout the rest of my journey. Although my adventures with AB&C have come to a close, the memories will live forever. Love ya, AB.
