James Curtis Hall's Obituary
HALL Sr., James Curtis; Age 71 of Nashville, TN passed away April 22, 2012. He was born in Nashville on December 17, 1940 to the late James and Frances Hall. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Jackson Hall; daughters, Beth (Mark) Shaffer and Karen (Steve) Parks; son, James Curtis (Koreen) Hall Jr.; sister, Celia (Robert) Byrd; grandchildren, William, Andrew, Matthew and Hannah Shaffer; Wyatt, Ryan and Duke Hall; Zoe and soon to arrive Jake Parks. Curtis’ main thrust in life was to be a faithful preacher of the gospel of Christ. He served churches throughout the Southeast and locally at, Maple Hill Church of Christ, Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, Joywood Church of Christ and Liberty Hill Church of Christ. He loved to study and teach the Bible and was a true “Fisher” of men. The funeral ceremony will be on Wednesday morning at 10AM in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30AM at Spring Hill. Interment will follow funeral ceremonies in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where family will serve as pallbearers.
