Mr. James Burke Dozier, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. James Burke Dozier, Jr., age 72, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. Mr. Dozier was born to James Burke Dozier, Sr., and Lillie Mae Demonbreun Dozier on October 4, 1943.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Dozier; and his sisters, Lora Mae Dozier LaFore and Linda Elaine Dozier Newell.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Jeremy) Paradise and Deatra Michelle Williams; son, Randy Dozier; sister, Crystal Dozier; and brother, Steve Dozier. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Justin and Ethan Williams, Leanna Collins, and Kaitlyn Paradise.
Jimmy served in Vietnam from 1966-1971 as a proud Marine. Semper Fi.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 from 10am-2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations should be made to any veteran charity of choice.
