Mr. James Goodrich's Obituary
James H. Goodrich, age 88 of Madison passed away December 6, 2014. Mr. Goodrich was born on June 14, 1926 in Nashville to the late Ernest “Pat” and Ethel Mary Goodrich. He was a graduate of East High School; served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and was a retired Detective Sergeant with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department with 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Joanne P. Goodrich. He is survived by his children, Jim (Robin) Goodrich, Suzie (Tony) Warner and Lisa (Walter) Goodrich Horrocks; grandchildren, Sean (Amanda) Goodrich, Jeremy (Ginger) Goodrich, Bob Warner, Katie Warner and Patrick Warner; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Ann Goodrich, Charlotte McGoldrick Horrocks, Jasmine Horrocks, Scott Whisker, Ben Whisker and Herbie Horrocks. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 10th at 10:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. and Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
