Mr. James Happy's Obituary
James Harold Happy, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. James was born on February 10, 1941 in Rutland, Iowa to the late Harold and Mary (Arnett) Happy.
James thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a love for animals and the outdoors and at one time he even took in a possum to make sure that it was cared for. He also was a great craftsman. He cherished greatly the life that he had been blessed with.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Jarrell Happy; daughter, Pamela Kirby; grandchildren, Joshua Copeland and Bodee Copeland.
James is survived by his children, Sonya Drake (Galen), Dana Carroll (Pete), Leander Copeland and Karen Copeland; siblings, Robert Happy, Wanda Clark, Gary Happy and Kevin Happy; grandchildren, James Ralston, Steven Ralston, Michael Ralston, Amanda Underwood, Renee Copeland and John Copeland; seventeen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; special family friend, Webbie Rainey. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12 pm until the time of service beginning at 2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
