Mr. James "Jimmy" Hicks' Obituary
James “Jimmy” Hicks, age 53 of Nashville, passed away on July 5, 2013. Mr. Hicks was born on August 31, 1959 in Nashville, TN to Henry Wright, Sr. and Emily Elizabeth Kintner Hicks.
Jimmy was a member of Shelby Ave. Baptist Church. He loved fishing and UT football.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Henry Wright Hicks, Jr. He is survived by his previous wife, Casey M. Hicks; daughters, Kyndyll (Chris) Lackey and Alexis (Andy Gregg) Hicks; brothers, John and Richard Hicks; sisters, Pat King, Faye Johnson and Juanita Himes; a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loving neighbors, as well as his dog, Knucklehead.
A celebration of Mr. Hicks’ life will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Clay Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, July 9 and from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
