James "Jim" Evans Harris' Obituary
James “Jim” Evans Harris, 85, of Hermitage, Tennessee, sadly passed away on August 22, 2024. He was born March 10, 1939, to the late Fred Harris and Nelda Ingram Harris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Harris.
Jim is survived by his wife, Phyllis Harris, sister Mary Beth (Andy) Greer; nieces, Jennifer (Tony), and Olivia; a nephew, Todd; and a four-legged friend, Trucker.
Jim was a very talented gentleman who could build and fix anything put in front of him. He was always a perfectionist and had to make sure everything was done to the T. He used to work at Whirlpool designing air conditioner fronts and ended his career with Aladdin Industries as a product designer. He had a few hobbies that included fly-fishing and sailing. He loved to be out on the open waters. When he was at home though, you could find him with his cats which he adored. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
