James Christopher Payne, 40, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020. Born June 11, 1980 in Nashville, he was the son of the late James Christopher Payne and Teressa Gann.
He was a fence builder who took great pride in his work. In his spare time he enjoyed playing basketball, going to the lake, grilling out, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children Jasmine Payne, Nevaeh Payne, Sarabeth Payne (and their mother Serenia), Katelyn Phillips (and her mother Kim Phillips), and Jordon Payne (and his mother Sissy); brothers John Payne and his fiancé Tabitha, Jason Payne, and Timothy Beach; sisters Stephanie Payne and Janice Hales; grandmother Linda Rogers; grandchildren Fantasia Payne and Royalty Payne.
Visitation will take place on Monday, November 30th from 12 PM until 2 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Nashville. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery, Nashville.
