Mr. James "Eddie" Reed Jr.'s Obituary
James Edward ‘Eddie’ Reed, Jr, 72, of Linden, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. Born May 8, 1948 in Nashville, he was the son of the late James E. Reed, Sr., and Martha King Reed.
Eddie was retired from commercial paint sales. During retirement, he enjoyed spending time in his shop woodworking. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Reed, Sr.; mother Martha King Reed in April 2020; brother Marty Reed in November 2020; and a nephew Gary Honeycutt.
Surviving him are his wife, Lydia Reed; children Ronda (Mitch) Gibson, and Victor (Lindsey) Reed; step-children Tracy (Jessie) Pylant, Dennis Pylant, and Sheila (Robbie) Wilson; sister Debbie Honeycutt; grandchildren Lauren (Sean) Finn, Wes (Jessie) Gibson, Will Reed, and Grayson Reed; step-grandchildren Dalton, Hunter, Charlie, Rebecca, Keilana, Dustin, Lydia, and Rachel; a great grandchild Raegan Finn; great nephew Chase Honeycutt.
An inurnment ceremony will take place on the grounds of the Historical Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, where both he and his brother Marty will be laid to rest in the family estate.
