Mr. James Richardson's Obituary
James Oliver Richardson, age 89, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 in Whites Creek, Tennessee. James was born on May 2, 1928 in Wayne County, Illinois to the late William Lawrence and Erma Marie (King) Richardson.
Mr. Richardson served his county in the United States Air Force. James enjoyed anything to do with airplanes. His family share a lot of fond memories of James by him involving them to go and watch planes land, etc. He enjoyed people watching and going to McDonalds and Cracker Barrel with his family. He was a wonderful gentleman that never complained about his circumstances, always seeing the best in people. He cherished his family and the life he had been blessed to live.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by brothers, Fred Richardson and Carson Richardson; and his son-in-law, Robert Anderson.
James is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Phyllis (Henson) Richardson; daughter, Stacy Anderson; brother, Bob Richardson (Julie); sister, Alberta Henson (Bill); grandson, Robert H. Anderson, III. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Interment will be scheduled at a later date at the Nashville National Cemetery.
