James T. Knight's Obituary
KNIGHT, James T. of Nashville, TN passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010; he was 87. Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Mary Ann Knight. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Ann (Charles) Busada of Bloomsburg, PA; sons, William T. (Janie) Knight and James P. (Pam) Knight; sister, Virginia (Gordon) Nelson; grandchildren, Miriam, Jonathan, Michael, Elisa and Jesse Busada, Matthew and David Knight, Blake Hunter. Mr. Knight was a member of First Baptist Church of Donelson. Mr. Knight was a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He retired from GMAC as a branch manager with thirty-five years of service. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving as a staff sergeant with the Third Army Battalion in the Pacific Theater. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Spring Hill Funeral Home 5110, Gallatin Rd. from 5 to 8 PM and where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 2 at 11AM with Rev. James “Jim” Cross and Rev. Jack Barron officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt and David Knight, Jonathan, Jesse and Charles Busada, Blake Hunter, Tommy Smith and Nelson Cope. The family will also receive friends on Friday from 9 AM until service time. Entombment will follow in the Serenity Mausoleum of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where military honors will be rendered.
