Mr. James Antonio "Tony" Thomas' Obituary
Mr. James Antonio “Tony” Thomas, age 57, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Tony was born to Robert Owen and Loretta Thomas on December 21, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Tony earned a pre-engineering degree from the University of Alabama. He served his country both in the US Navy and the US Army. Tony worked many years as a LPN for Veterans Affairs in Augusta, GA; Murfreesboro, TN; and Las Vegas, NV.
Tony is survived by his mother Loretta Thomas; brother Mack Wedgeworth; sisters Emily Thomas, Glenda Thomas, and Debra Jackson. In addition, Tony is survived by his cousins Regina Williams, Alvin Williams, Makeba Williams; and his aunt Emma C. McCoy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1pm-2pm. Services will be held in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home beginning at 2pm. Burial with military honors will be conducted at Chatanooga National Cemetery at a later date.
