LINDSEY, James Thomas Age 78 of Murfreesboro passed away on Monday, September 13th. He loved his children and grandchildren and worked for the Tennessean for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Emily Lindsey; sisters, Margaret Harris, and Jeanette Williams, and; brother, Atlas A. Lindsey, Jr. He is survived by his son, Larry (Ellen) Lindsey; daughters, Linda Briggs, and Lori (Aaron) Lindsey; brothers, David Lindsey, Bobby Joe Lindsey, and Roy Lindsey; sisters, Jane Donnelly, Janice Clapper, Judy Simmons, Betty Ruth Conger, and Myra Hurst; and grandchildren, Rachel Briggs, Brian Lindsey, Ashley Lindsey, Sarah Lindsey, and James Lindsey, Jr. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, September 15th from 4-8PM and on Thursday, September 16th from 1-2PM with a service to follow in the chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home at 2PM with Bro.
