James W. "Mac" McGehee's Obituary
James W. “Mac” McGehee, age 91 of Nashville, TN passed away July 21, 2012. Mr. McGehee was born February 21, 1921 in Winchester, TN to Ellis and Annie McGehee. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 62 years, Agnes McGehee. He is survived by his son, Herb (Kathy) McGehee; granddaughter, Rachel McGehee (C.J. Wright); great-granddaughter, Peri; brother, Benjamin (Betty) McGehee and sister, Nell Shubert. Mr. McGehee taught for over 30 years with Metro Public Schools, mostly at East High School. He also worked at Inglewood Hardware and was an avid golfer. An Army veteran, he served his country during World War II. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M., Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Spring Hill Funeral Home.
