James C. (Jim) Woodall's Obituary
WOODALL, James C. (Jim), age 79 of Nashville passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013. James worked for Jewel Tea Company for 15 years and retired from Liberty National Insurance Company He also served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the City Road United Methodist Church. He was a wonderful loving son, husband, father and grandfather. An avid baseball fan whose great sense of humor and kind hearted spirit will be missed by everyone that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Copous G. and Sarah Frances Crawford Woodall and son John Northcutt. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Eva “Cricket” Woodall; daughters, Stephanie (Sam) Miller, Julie (Steve) Collier and Celeste J. Woodall; sons, Troy Northcutt and Chris (April) Northcutt. 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. His family will receive friends from 2 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 16 and from 1 p.m. until his Celebration of Life Service on Monday, June 17 at 2 p.m. from Spring Hill Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be the the Living Word Sunday School Class from City Road UMC. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alzmidsouth.org
