I am so sorry to just now learn of Jan Guy's passing. I lost my husband back in December and am just now going through newspapers from the past few months. I would have attended the service had I known. But, I want you to know that I am so sorry. I worked with Jan Guy at THDA for many years and always enjoyed my time with Jan - mainly because he always, ALWAYS, made me laugh! He always had the most wonderful smile on his face and was ready to share a hilarious story or event with me. Jan was a great guy and a wonderful friend.
But, most of all, Ben and Taylor, I want you to know that your Dad was so very proud of you. He talked about the two of you all the time. You were the highlights of his life. There was no doubt that he loved the two of you very, very much.
I know you are going to miss him. I am going to miss him just knowing that he is no longer with us here on this earth. But, I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he will be there waiting for us when we get to Heaven. His faith was evident in everything he did. He truly shined for Jesus!
You all will be in my prayers. I hope it helps you to know that Jan was loved by a lot of people. I am thankful God allowed him in my life . . .
