Jane Duke's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Jane Duke on November 14th, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jane was born on December 12th, 1938, in Nashville to Douglas Moore and Lorene Jackson Moore. She was a devoted member of Matthews Memorial United Methodist Church in Madison. She loved the Lord and serving others, often volunteering at TriStar Skyline Madison Campus as a front desk receptionist. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. When she was able to, she enjoyed tending to her garden. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Lorene, and her beloved husband Aaron S. Duke. She is survived by her son Jason Kirk Duke; sisters Shirley and Linda; fur baby Beau; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family cordially invites relatives and guests to join them for a time of visitation on Sunday, November 19th, 2023, from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the chapel service at two o'clock in the afternoon, all taking place at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216.
Per her wishes, Jane will be cremated and laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Final arrangements for Ms. Duke are entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, "Where Nashville Comes to Remember."
