Ms. Jane McCormack's Obituary
Ms. Jane Crain McCormack, age 89 of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. She was born on April 6, 1930 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James and Pearl Crain. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walton Howard McCormack, her sons Troy Lee McCormack and Leonard McCormack, and her brother James Parker, and her sister Delphia (Wayne) Shares. She is survived by her son Walton Tim McCormack of Madison, Tennessee, her grandson Gregory (Courntey) McCormack of Nashville, Tennessee, and her brother Jerry (Letha) Crain of Kingston Springs, Tennessee.
Jane was a very family oriented person, and a great woman of faith. She was the ultimate caretaker of her family, some might even describe her as a “real life June Cleaver.” She was very proper, tactful, and kind, and quite business minded as well. Jane enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing. She loved anything that involved spending time outdoors with her family, especially spending time on the family land in Perry county on the river.
A visitation for Ms. McCormack will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 4-7pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2pm. Burial in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery will follow.
