Ms. Janice Darlene Carlton's Obituary
Janice Darlene Carey Carlton of Goodlettsville, TN passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 as a result of a tragic traffic accident.
Ms. Carlton was a graduate of Stratford High School, attended MTSU, worked over 38 years in the Department of Finance with the Metropolitan government, attended the Goodlettsville Church of Christ, and was a yard sale enthusiast. She loved George Strait, but most of all loved her children and grandchildren and being with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A. Burnley Carey, Jr. & Catherine Wright Carey and was later preceded by her granddaughter, Wyncie Darlene Bouge.
Ms. Carlton is survived by her daughter, Megan Darlene (Brandon) Bouge, son Nathan (Angela) Carlton, grandchildren Emmett Poe Bouge, Rhylyn Grace, Hunter, and Levi Carlton; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Thompson, brother, A. B. "Buddy" Carey III, nieces Teresa Butler, Carolyn Knudsen, Elisabeth Carroll, Kelly Carey, and nephew, Craig Carey.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19th from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 P.M. in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
