Janice Rachel Moore, 77, of Brentwood, Tennessee, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 from ovarian cancer. Born July 1, 1945, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late James Moore and Ruth Blair Goslee.
She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Madole (John) of Nashville, TN and Lisa Wilson of Lavergne, TN; a sister, Joyce Moore Lowe of Murfreesboro, TN; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of extended family, and long-time best friend and business partner, Jerry Sailors.
Born in Atlanta, Janice grew up in Murfreesboro, was a 1963 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School, and attended MTSU. She was a successful Realtor for over 25 years. She was a member of Judson Baptist Church and loved her Sunday School class. One of the greatest joys of her life was playing the violin.
Janice will be greatly missed by her family and many good friends. Her funeral will be at the Spring Hill Funeral Home on Gallatin Road on Thursday, July 14th at 12 PM noon. Reverend Ernest Standerfer will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
