Janice Lynette Parris' Obituary
Janice Lynette Parris, 50, of Greenbrier, TN, passed away unexpectedly at Tristar Skyline Medical Center on May 3, 2024. She was born on November 21, 1973, to Richard and Mary Smith.
She was predeceased by her parents. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Bobby Brummett, stepsons, Christopher and William Brummett, daughters, Aaliyah Parris, Tamara Wing, and Autumn Capps, son, Xavier Parris, 4 grandchildren, Elizabeth Wing, Titus Wing, Symphanie Wing, and Carter Capps, brothers and sisters, and her beloved German Shepherd, Rukas.
Janice led a remarkable life, serving her country in the US Armed Forces and later transitioning to careers in Real Estate sales and Insurance Brokerage. Her kind heart and dedication to helping others were evident throughout her life. She had a special passion for assisting Autistic children, and her culinary talents brought joy to friends and family. As an avid outdoorswoman, she found solace in picturesque Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where kayaking became one of her favorite retreats.
She loved meeting and talking with new people, but she will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her best.
There is a Celebration of Life scheduled on June 1 from 2pm - 4pm EST at New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Corryton, TN.
