Ms. Janie Lowell Gentry's Obituary
Janie Lowell Gentry, age 94, passed away December 19, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband Jonah Gentry, daughter Helen Rose Gentry, grandsons Steven Michael Ralph and Mark Ralph, son-in-law Kenneth Timothy North. She is survived by her daughters Elwanda and Claude Ralph, Barbara and John Blair, Shirley North; son Wayne and Sheryl Gentry; sister Audrey Pearle Barbee; grandchildren Dale, Jeff, Tammy, Tobey, Tabitha, Daryle, Dwayne, Jonah, and Joshua; great grandchildren Gracie, Emma, Ava, Chad, Jonah Abel, Arthur, Stephanie, Tyanna, Jordan, Trey, Jenna, Victoria, George Rike, Taylor Marie, Colton, Morgan, and Logan; and five great-great grandchildren. Janie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Madison Church of Christ. She had a servant heart and was a caregiver at Maybelle Carter Retirement Community and Jackson Park. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Slate officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Jonah and Joshua Gentry; Daryle, Dwayne, and Jeff Ralph; and Tobey North. Visitation will be Sunday 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Monday 9:00-11:00 a.m. with service to follow at Spring Hill Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the staff at Vanco Manor for all their service.
