Mr. Jay H. Leibacher's Obituary
Joseph “Jay” H. Leibacher, IV, age 59, of Nashville, passed away on April 19, 2014. Jay was born on April 21, 1954 to Joseph Leibacher, III and Patricia Leibacher. Jay never met a stranger and had many, many friends. He was the “class clown” in school and was known for his humor and wit. He enjoyed working on cars, drag-racing, and watching his favorite racers, Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
Jay was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Leibacher, III, whom he loved dearly.
Jay is survived by his loving wife of over thirty years, Diana Leibacher; his mother, Patricia Leibacher; sisters, Liegh Ann Freeman, Celia Leibacher, and Christy Ackerman; nieces, Jennifer (Mark) Lynn, Teresa (Donnie) Katro, Christy (Andrew) Wolford, Esther Freeman, Melissa Ackerman, and Laura (Jamie) Barton; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaila Alexander, Luke Burns, Donovan Katro, Taylor Hoard, Gavin Hoard, and Shane Lynn.
Pastor Gary Ferrell will lead a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to honor Jay on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3pm, from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, Tennessee 615-865-1101. www.springhillfh.com
