I have always loved and admired Burdene and Jay. Their representation of Christian marriage was one I admired and wanted to model. I know that you will miss him terribly, Newt has been gone for 8 years and my sadness has turned into wonderful memories.
Our marriage would have been incomplete without you and Jay singing for us. When I played wedding with my paper dolls, you all were always there.
Susan and Lisa I know you've had the very best parents, I know you too have lots of great memories.
I am so sad to hear about the passing of Jay. My husband and I enjoyed talking to him when we would drop off our vacuum cleaner for repair or I during our time together in Metro Schools. He was a wonderful person. I know he will be greatly missed. Praying for the family during this time.
WE send our love, prayers and condolences. I have these special and powerful memories of Jay in those Easter Plays and how he touched so many people. God bless his memory and you as family as you celebrate his homegoing.
