Ms. Jean E. Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Derryberry Anderson, age 93 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Monday May 16, 2022. She was born on July 22, 1928 in Portland, Tennessee to the late James and Belle Derryberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dr. J. Sumpter Anderson Jr and her brothers James and William Derryberry. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Linda and Charles Pittenger and Lisa and Edward Longinotti, grandchildren Emma Cull, Sumter Pittenger, and Victor and Tucker Longinotti, great-grandchildren Isaiah Scott, Oliver, Leo, and Max Longinotti, Clifton, Annabelle Rose, and Franklin Pittenger, as well as a host of loving extended family.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker and stayed home to raise her girls. She was a person of deep faith, and enjoyed bible study. She also enjoyed needlework, playing cards with friends, reading, and she loved cats.

Mrs. Anderson will be laid to rest at a private family graveside service at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
