Mrs. Jean E. Wallace's Obituary
Jean Medley Wallace, age 85, passed away on June 8, 2016.
Jean was born on October 14, 1930 in Nashville to Raymond H. Medley and Mary Louise (Link) Medley. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Sam E. Wallace, Sr., her parents, and her brother Raymond Medley, Jr.
Jean is survived by her sons, Sam (Mitzi) Wallace, Jr., Bob (Beverly), Mick (Norma), her daughters Beth (Tom) Deweese, and Elaine (Pat) Goad, her grandchildren Kristen (Chad) Greer), Will (Cayla) Wallace, Stephanie Wallace, Matt Wallace, Lindsey (Jason) Baldwin, Sarah Beth Deweese, Katie (Justin) Perkins, and Ryan Goad. In addition, Jean is survived by seven great=grandchildren and her sister Patricia Ann (Medley) Lawrence.
Mrs. Wallace worked many years at Aladdin Manufacturing; however, her family and Monroe Steet Methodist Church were her passions in life. She was also a member of the founding committee that established the original Germantown Oktoberfest Celebration
Visitation will be held on Friday June 10, 2016 from 4pm-8pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the Monroe Street United Methodist Church on Saturday June 11, 2016, at 1:00pm with visitation beginning at 11am.
