Jeanette Peery Bennett's Obituary
Jeanette Peery Bennett, 89, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on July 28, 2024. She was born in Martin, Tennessee, on January 9, 1935, to Richard and Myra Peery.
She is predeceased by her parents Richard William and Myra Lousie née Cook Peery.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are loving husband of 71 years, Dorris “Eli” Bennett, Sr., children, Dee Bennett, Yvonne Bennett (Mike) Leggett, Jeff (Jan) Bennett, grandchildren, Brandy (Andy) McWilliams, Banica (Ian) Crockett, Brice Bennett, Kristen Bennett, great grandchildren, Olivia McWilliams, Andrew McWilliams, Ian Thomas Crockett, Elea Rhea Crockett, Campbell Crockett, Isaac McWilliams, and Eli Crockett, half siblings, Nancy Houchins, Janice Peery Gill, William Allen Peery.
Jeanette was a wonderful, supportive homemaker, wife, mother, and MaMa. She helped her husband continue the family business, Bennett Tool and Die in Nashville, Tennessee, and later became a co-owner of the company. In her free time, she loved vacationing with family and friends at the beach and loved her boating life on Old Hickory Lake. She was a longtime member of Madison church of Christ.

The family will gather to welcome friends at Spring Hill Funeral Home on August 1, 2024, from 12 p to 2 pm with a Celebration of her life to follow. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
