Mr. Jeff L. Mabry's Obituary
Jeffrey L. Mabry, age 61, of Lebanon, TN died on September 8, 2020. He was born on September 12, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of Leland and Emma (Shumate) Mabry.
Jeff’s greatest passion in life was serving others. He enjoyed ministering to the homeless and assisting with the Room In The Inn project in Nashville, Tennessee. He was more of a giver than a taker, and as a true servant of God he never expected anything in return. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, landscaping and the beaches of Florida. He took great pride in his family and in supporting missions work both overseas and domestically. He volunteered at the Haiti Missions Car Show annually and dreamed of restoring his own beloved Camaro.
Jeff engrained in his family a faith-based serving mentality. Having a heart for animals, no stray creature ever went hungry on his property, whether it was a deer, a family of raccoons or any of the neighborhood cats. Jeff was a servant of the Lord and he will be greatly missed by his family and his church.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Mabry; daughter Chera Wilbanks (Matt); sons Jeffrey Chase Mabry and Malachi Mabry (fiancé Amber Clifton); grandchildren Kyndal Wilbanks and Averi Wilbanks. Jeff is also survived by his mother Emma Mabry. He was preceded in death by his father Leland Mabry.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery at 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN 37216 from 3-5 PM.
