Jeffrey Wayne Vardell's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey Wayne Vardell, a beloved son, brother, father, friend, and extraordinary soul who departed this world on January 31st, 2024. Jeff, aged 63, leaves behind a legacy of unwavering work ethic, undying determination, and a passion for life that touched the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Monday, February 5th, from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5110 Gallatin Road in Nashville. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 6th at twelve o'clock noon also at the funeral home. The committal service will immediately follow the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers being asked to serve are Terry Mayhugh, Peyton Carney, Tanner Gaul, Thomas Hazlette, Ralph Carter, and Todd Stevenson.
Jeff was a beacon of inspiration, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to every endeavor he undertook. His commitment to hard work was unparalleled as demonstrated with his long term employer Jet Packaging, serving as a guiding light for those who shared in his journey. His tenacity and drive were infectious, motivating others to strive for excellence in their own pursuits.
Beyond the realms of work, Jeff was a man of unique personality and depth. Despite a gruff exterior, he formed genuine connections with others, cultivating relationships based on shared understanding and mutual respect. His impact on the lives of those around him was immeasurable, and the lessons learned from his example will forever be cherished.
An adventurous soul, Jeff found solace and joy in the open road, with a love for motorcycle riding that mirrored his approach to life – free-spirited and unbridled.
Jeff's absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of family, friends, and colleagues. As we mourn the loss of this exceptional individual, let us also celebrate the vibrant and meaningful life he led.
Jeff is survived by his loving mother Dolores Vardell, sister Joyce Mayhugh (Terry), brother Thomas Vardell (Betty), son Bradford Nolan Vardell (Stephanie), long-time partner Kay Helf, and his loving dog Harley. He has several nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father John Thomas Vardell, and brother Landon Scott Vardell.
