September 16th, 1982 - March 7th, 2026
We gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Jennifer Anne Wood, lovingly known as Jenny. A talented musician who created music connecting communities, she filled stages and hearts with melodies that made each listener feel at home.
Jenny was a local musician who was loved by all. Her voice carried warmth, and everyone felt its gentle lift. She had the rare gift of making every person feel like she was their dearest friend.
Hardworking, kind, and generous, Jenny never tired of sharing her time and talent. Anyone who met her witnessed the same openhearted spirit that kept her music honest and welcoming.
Jenny now joins her late mother Maria Wood, father David Wood, sister Jacqueline McElroy, and niece Rosemary McElroy. She is fondly remembered by her niece Catalina McElroy and nephew Mayan McElroy, whose lives will always carry her tune forward.
To honor her giving nature, friends may support the Nashville Food Bank - East Nashville Cooperative Ministry's Care Market at 3115 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216 in her memory.
