Jerry L. Cook's Obituary
Jerry Lee Cook, 85, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026.
Jerry was born February 4, 1941 to Jesse and Etta Reid Cook in Hendersonville, and was a proud 1959 graduate of Hendersonville High School. He was the successful business owner of The Flooring Center for over 40 years, retiring at the age of 75.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jimmy and Jackie Cook.
Jerry was kind, generous, and compassionate; his selfless ways stretched throughout all of Nashville as he was always looking to lend a hand to his community.
Jerry’s legacy will be remembered by his children, Anthony “Tony” Cook (Angela Walters), Melanie Prince, Gloria Pack (Raymond “Butchie”); his loving partner, Shirley Dabbs; 7 grandchildren, Kelly Prince, Katey Christofferson, Jesse Prince, Taylor Prince, Elizabeth “Beth” Brown, Aaron Pack, and Elijah Pack; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; his fur baby, Casper; and many nieces and nephews.
