Jerry Wayne Norman Sr.'s Obituary
NORMAN SR., Jerry Wayne age 74 of Nashville, TN passed away suddenly June 29, 2010. He is survived by his beloved Diane Kinde; son, Jerry W. Norman Jr.; daughter, Brenda (Ricky) Smallwood; nephews, Ronnie and Donnie Norman, as well as many other nieces and nephews; brother, Stanley (Janet) Norman; sister, Margaret Ann Dugger; grandchildren, Angela (Mark) Jones, Erica (Bobby) Griggs, Jesse Norman, Derrick Smallwood; great-grandchildren, Caleb Joshua and Gabriel Jones, Hayden and Makena Griggs, and Sierra Norman. He was predeceased by his parents, H.T. "Jack" Norman and Ruby Chapman Norman; wife, Lillian Norman; brother, Howard Norman; great-grandson, Levi Jones. Mr. Norman will be remembered as "The Greatest Father Ever," "The Rock of the Family," "Iron Man," he was kind and generous and had no enemies. He was retired from Ford Glass Plant after 43 years and was a deacon at Donelson Baptist Church for many years. He will be greatly missed. The funeral ceremony will be on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 2PM in Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Jones officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-8PM, Monday until 8PM and until service time on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery where pallbearers will be family and friends and honorary pallbearers will be UAW 737 Members.
