Mr. Jesse Ray Baldwin Jr.'s Obituary
Jesse Ray “Tony” Baldwin, Jr., age 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Nashville. Tony was born on November 2, 1939 in Springfield to the late Jesse Ray Baldwin, Sr. and Nellie Mae (Scruggs) Baldwin.
Tony enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was great at woodworking as well as cooking. He always enjoyed going gambling with his wife, Minnie, even though she was better at it than him. He cherished his family and the life that he was blessed with.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 61 years, Minnie (Downs) Baldwin; son, Brian Baldwin; daughter, Mindy Claud; grandsons, Alex Claud, and Harrison Claud; sisters, Doris King, Sue Grossholz, Jessica Clinard, and Barbara Harris; sister-in-law, Doris Downs. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 from 12-2 pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 pm at the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with Russ King officiating. Interment will follow in the Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.
