Jesse Kenneth Watson's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jesse Kenneth Watson on December 17th, 2022 in Vanleer, Tennessee. He was born on August 26th, 1939 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee to Jesse Watson and Margaret Gatlin Watson.
Jesse was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a simple and hard-working man who loved his family above all. His family would tell you that he may have appeared rough and hard on the outside, but to not be deceived, for he had a huge and loving heart. He loved to fish and loved to read even more. Jesse was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him, and his presence will be missed by those he leaves behind.
In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Jo Watson, and brothers Jerry Watson, Mike Watson, and Bobby Watson. He is survived by his children Kenneth Watson (Amber), Tim Watson (Tammy), and Cynthia Watson (Mark Stacy); sisters Janice Cauley, Sherri Thompson, and Diane Guess; brothers Phillip Watson and Billy Watson; grandchildren Candy Deane (Jashua), Candle White (David), Kirby Dies, Khris Dies, Jessica Watson, Amanda Thompson, Derek Watson, Brandon Watson, Karrie Watson, and Sherry Watson; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and dear friends.
A graveside service will be held at Historic Spring Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements entrusted to Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, “Where Nashville Comes to Remember.”
