Mr. Jimmie E. Harris' Obituary
Jimmie E. Harris, age 85 of Madison passed away peacefully January 23, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Harris was born on April 12, 1928 in Monroe County, TN to the late Robert and Maude Harris. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Juanita Harris; sons, David (Del) Harris, Dale (Lisa) Harris and Dennis Harris; grandchildren, Claire Harris, Daniel (Mandy) Harris, Elle (Alan) Stenberg, Emmie Harris and Sam Harris; and sister-in-law, Bobbye Land. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 26th at 7:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Steven VanHooser officiating. Interment will be on Monday, January 27th at 10:00 A.M. in Spring Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of Matthews Memorial United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 4-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Matthews Memorial United Methodist Church.
