Mr. Jimmy Allen Freeman's Obituary
Jimmy Allen Freeman, age 78, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 30, 2014. Jimmy was born in Livingston, Tennessee on November 22, 1936 to the late Clarence and Cornell Freeman. Jimmy loved his wife, children, grand-children, and life.
His family recalls that Jimmy was a gentleman with a big heart who was always there to lend a helping hand. He was quick with a smile and made friends anywhere he went. He was a dedicated friend and father, and he had the ability to love without boundaries.
Jimmy married his childhood sweetheart, Mary Sue Freeman, and the loving couple raised a large family. A Christian man, Jimmy attended White House General Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and was a faithful servant. He was a hardworking man who always put others before himself. Always interested in that which came before him, Jimmy was a history buff and had a collection of Civil War memorabilia.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Freeman; sons, Randy Carter, Wally Carter, Jim Pinson, Terry Freeman, and Shane Freeman; daughters, Tina Gammon and Sue Rana Dreyer; brother, Bob Freeman; sister, Jean Morris; grandchildren, Ashlie Pinson, Cody Pinson, Felicia Dreyer, Angelina Dreyer, Sherie Bradford, and Shayleigh Freeman.
Jimmy's family will receive visitors on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2pm until 9pm at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Additional visitation will take place prior to the funeral ceremony on Saturday, January 3, 2015, from Spring Hill Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Treadway will preside over a Celebration of Life Service to honor Jimmy on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Meadow Ridge Garden of Historic Spring Hill Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
