Jimmy Earl Hendrix's Obituary
Jimmy Earl Hendrix age 86, of Nashville, TN passed away May 7, 2025. Born in Nashville, TN on November 6, 1938, to the late John Garvin and Helen Nunley Hendrix.
Jimmy attended East High School where he ran track and was proud to be an Eagle.
After high school, he attended diesel mechanics school and began working on tractor trailer trucks. He spent 42 years of his work career with Neely Cable Company. In his retirement years, he took pride in working on The General Jackson Show boat with his wife Barbara.
He was married to Barbara Roller Hendrix in 1964, and they lived a wonderful life together raising 3 children.
Along with his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by loving wife, Barbara and brother Johnny Hendrix.
Jimmy is survived by daughter, Sheri (Jeff) Allen of White Hall, AR; sons, Mark Hendrix of Pegram, TN and Mike (Kelley) Hendrix of Cowan, TN; three grandchildren, Sydney Gere, Brooke Brown and Elijah Allen; one great-grandchild, Elaine Gere; sisters, Cindy (Danny) Thompson and Donna (Gary) Rumpler.
