Mrs. Joan Drumright's Obituary
Joan Clay Drumright of Nashville, TN passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Alive Hospice Residence, Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph D. Drumright, Sr, her parents Ernest and Effie Clay, and her sister Ernestine Clay Loafman.
Joan was born in Old Hickory, TN on March 11, 1931 and was a long- time member of City Road United Methodist Church in Madison, TN. She retired from E.I. DuPont Company in 1997 after 47 years of service.
She is survived by her brother Robert “Bob” Clay (Judy) of Sarasota, FL, her sons Joseph “Jody” D. Drumright, Jr (Dale) of Battery Park, VA, Charles R. Drumright (Leslie) of Mt Juliet, TN, and P. Clay Drumright of Mt Juliet, TN also her grandchildren Jamie Carr (Dan), Addy Drumright, Jason Kerby (Nanci), Dylan Carmack, Dawson Carmack, and her great-children Arlo Carr, Brenden Kerby, Justin Kerby, Lindsey Snipp, and Astrid Kerby.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel at Spring Hill Funeral Home in Madison, TN on January 8, 2020 at 11:00am. The family will receive visitors from 9:00am until the time of the service. Jay Voorhees, Sr Pastor at City Road Methodist Church will be officiating.
